Raised in a musical family, Annique was singing before she could speak. Antiques attendance at the Academy of Contemporary Music in London conducted her career as a much sought-after backing singer, working with some of her favourite artists such as Gorillaz and Mike Skinner. The electric collaboration with multi-instrumentalist Koby Israelite lead to their magnificent debt album Heads Up, released on German label Asphalt Tango in early 2015.

An uncharacteristically rough school in Somerset threw Seb and Lewis into the same orbit – eventually spinning them both off to Wembley in North London right in the middle of the riots. Late nights and post-university blues then forged the union between them and Lexi, Ned and Ben. Influences for their unique sound are drawn from The Dirty Pretty Things to Led Zeppelin – helping to forge the often haunting, stabbing, melodic, grooving alternative early Radiohead influenced sounds.
''Lovely stuff, it's all rhythmically and musically interesting, the guitars sound great!''
- Rhodri Marsden - The Independent

The Clear's latest singles are fresh, yet nostalgic and beautifully channel classic West Coast pop; a new slice of classic songwriting, harking back to a golden age of perfectly-crafted pop songs. The Clear have been carefully honing their craft, absorbing the golden-hued hits from the late 60s and early 70s – and trying to figure out what made them sound so timeless. The band have signed a worldwide publishing deal with Rondor Music, a part of Universal Music Publishing group out of the LA office and most recently performed their showcase at Abbey Road Studios.

“Sunlight is a piece of classic pop songwriting – in that it could have appealed to audiences anytime in the last 40 years – yet there’s enough 21st Century sensibility in the writing, recording and performance for Sunlight to sound fresh-wrought rather than some kind of retread.” - Tom Robinson - BBC 6 Music
“Sunlight is like a happy-go-lucky version of Radiohead’s ‘Let Down‘… which is one of my all-time favourite songs.” - Simon Raymonde - XFM
